OSuite andTally

If you know Tally, you already know the words OSuite uses. Here is what is the same and what is different.

OSuite: a new invoice with GST worked out as you type

Two products

TallyPrime is the accounting software most Indian businesses and their accountants grew up with: fast keyboard entry, vouchers, ledgers and GST, on the office PC.

OSuite keeps what Tally users rely on, the day book, ledgers with Dr and Cr, a statement of account, Ctrl-key shortcuts, and builds the rest of the business around it.

What is different in OSuite

Screens that explain themselves. Forms with labels and checks in plain words, so a new billing clerk is productive on day one, while the keyboard still does what Tally users expect.

The whole business in one place. Quotations, sales and purchase orders, delivery challans, counter billing, leads, manufacturing, payroll, projects, rentals and an online store share one set of books.

Desktop or cloud. Run it on your own PC, or let us host it and open it in a browser, including on a phone.

Customers can pay and order online. Share an invoice link with a payment button, or open an online store; both land in your books.

When Tally is the better choice

  • Your accountant works only in Tally and you want to hand over the data file as it is.
  • You need a feature or a report OSuite does not have yet; ask us before you decide.

Moving to OSuite

Export your masters from Tally as XML and import them into OSuite: ledgers become customers and vendors with their GSTINs, stock items become products, and opening balances come across. You can try the import without saving anything.

Try OSuite free for 14 days alongside your current software before you decide, or ask us anything.

Tally is a trademark of its owner. We describe it from its public information as of October 2026 and may have missed changes; check with them for the latest.
